#400, "The Red," Armani's idea of a Perfect Red. Fall 2013 Collection

Fashion Designer and Lifestyle Influencer/"Taste Maestro," Giorgio Armani makes no bones about that he is not organic, homeopathic, or holistic but this man has standards and very much comfortable about modernity.

Thinking about the "perfect rose," he plucked a rose petal then took it to his cosmetics lab and asked his chemists to replicate that shade of red in that rose petal.

What developed was #400, Giorgio Armani's idea of the "Perfect Red."

#400 will be through his current Fall 2013 Collection, from his "Rouge Ecstasy," a new breed of "CC" Lipstick to his new-found classic "Lip Maestro," the moisturizing, matte, and opaque liquid lipstick to his brand new Nail Lacquers.  Shade #400 a.k.a. "The Red" is the constant thread running through this current Fall 2013 Collection.

Knowing today's customer is either integrating skincare health and result-driven performance into their makeup (maxing out the biggest bang out of your bucks) and the population is aging in general, Armani Cosmetics is jumping on the "CC" bandwagon by inventing the first and foremost "CC" Lipstick, titled "Rouge Ecstasy" Line.

"Rough Ecstasy" Lipstick is a "Color & Care" Lipstick.

#400 The Red will be in Armani's re-launched but improved Nail Lacquers to match the #400 CC Lipstick and Lip Maestro.

The #400 "The Red" Shade isn't present in the blushes but Armani Cosmetics' Blushing Fabric in Scarlatto comes close in a bold red.

This running theme of the "Perfect Red" follows the mid to late Seventies' vampy Disco Diva trend predominating Rachel Roy's current Fall 2013 Collection.  Back then, they yearned for this intense red but didn't have the technical know-how then but you can now and make for a better Disco Diva.
