The original cube debuted at Coachella April 2010, catapulting deadmau5 to become one of the most in-demand live acts in the world, with its follow-up Cube 2.1 arriving in 2017 at the launch of his “lots of shows in a row tour.”  cubev3 - changing positions from 90 degrees into 45 degrees and rotate 360 degrees—comes to life with mind bending content accompanied by a custom selection of music performed live by deadmau5.  More info on the cube along with photos and other assets can be found here.

In other news on October 4, deadmau5 will release here’s the drop!, a collection of remixes of material from where’s the drop?, his 2018 album of re-imagined orchestral arrangements of his previous work, in collaboration with musical director Gregory Reveret.  Over the course of its 15 tracks, plenty of revered tastemakers have been tapped for their talents to make this remix album a cerebral journey through sound.  Morgan Page—who deadmau5 remixed his 2013 single “The Longest Road”--offers up his version of “imaginary friends,” Matt Lange tackles “superbia,” and many more expertly reimagined offerings round out this ambitious album from mau5trap’s current artists and alumni such as Mr Bill, Sian, Rinzen and Tinlicker.  There is also a remix from deadmau5’ collaborator from where’s the drop? Gregory Reveret and mau5trap artist Spencer Brown’s who’s “fn pig” delivers a genre-melding and hypnotic expedition that complements the source material, but also creates surprising new interpretations on moments in the music.  Pre-save the album at https://ffm.to/heresthedrop

In the La-La Land of fleeting fads and trends representing passing eras and decades, there are a few definite landmark restaurants in Los Angeles that not only stood the test of time. But, they lasted enough to introduce dishes that qualify as Americana, such as Beef Au Jus Sandwich. Musso & Frank formed the foundation of classy feasts, such as Debbie Durkin's Eco Luxe Garden Brunch. It's very rarely they release their Olde Hollywood formal dishes and top-secret recipes. Still, as they reach their 100th birthday in a family-run business, which is unheard of, Frank & Musso were kind enough to release a cookbook/history book to celebrate its 100th birthday. Their timeless, never-fail, Chicken Pot Pie with a Puff Pastry Lid, is the forefather to Wolfgang Puck's Puff Pastry Chicken Pot Pie. Cheers to Hollywood Classiness.
