Lululemon & Schwinn Bikes Spinning Away from Summer; Schwinn Jumping on the Spinning Bandwagon.

By Laura Medina

Working up a sweat can be thirsty yet healthy, thanks to Lululemon and Schwinn Bikes celebrating the spinning trend by sending farewell to Summer, with Summer saving its best bounties for last.

The latest fashion trend is the latest health trend, spinning as the new party in athleisure as the new party gear.

Since not everyone can dance, anyone with a bad knee can spin at the lightest weight.  The healthy cocktails quench dehydration and cools down the heat...

Anyone can cool down on Dream Pops' non-dairy and vegan popsicles anytime.  No shaming here.

There's more to beauty than just being skinny.  You need to hydrate and get radiant with antioxidants from super vibrant heirloom carrots, cauliflowers, and pop-in-your mouth cherry tomatoes.  The brighter color, more the flavor...

Remember, a well-balanced diet makes you more attractive inside.  Being hangry doesn't make anyone attractive.

Gourmet cold cuts for much-need protein, after burning calories spinning.

Lululemon party has the most exquisite cheeses from Northern California's award-winning Cypress Grove creamery:

Bermuda Triangle Cheese https://cheese.com/bermuda-triangle/
(Brie shell with goat cheese center)

Midnight Moon Cheese https://www.cypressgrovecheese.com/cheese/aged-cheeses/midnight-moon.html (Gouda with a goat cheese center)

Derby cheese marbled with proper British Port.

There's such a thing as dessert cheese, good ole Brie covered in honey, dried cranberries and almonds.  Easy pleasey.

It ain't a well-balanced buffet unless you have candied dried pineapples and mango slices with sweet dessert gourmet crackers...and nuts, of course.

Gyms, yoga studios, and fellow Lululemons and upscale Real House-spouses, y'all can throw a disco yoga/spinning party by following this guide.

Beauty is the outside but sexy is the inside.  They add up to health, wellness, and fulfilled and satisfied inside and out.

To Know Your History, Know Your Fashion, Colette was "Pre-SATC & Pre-Carrie Bradshaw; "SUSANNE BARTSCH: ON TOP" was Pioneering Party Promoter; & "Antonio Lopez 1970: Sex Fashion & Disco" was the Seventies.

By Laura Medina

Before there was Carrie Bradshaw documenting her diverse clique of friends' style, career, and sex life as lifestyles and a capsule of late Eighties/early Nineties hip and affordable Manhattan, there was Belle Epoque Paris, precursor to "Sex and the City" and Carrie Bradshaw, the lifestyle documentarian and trendsetter.
Under a Svengali/marketer husband, Colette and her inner circle became an aspirational brand.  People emulated her and her husband. They bought her lifestyle perfumes and cosmetics to be like her ...and plays.  They even tried to break in to the film business.
People read her risqué tales for tantalization and entertainment.
Watch "Poldark's" Eleanor Tomlinson playing a seductive, lipstick lesbian southern belle, Georgie Raoul-Duval.  A complete 180 degrees flip away from the loyal but rough and tough Delmelza.
Since parties, bashes, galas, and celebrations are the new advertisements and promotions, they rose up alongside social media...well, you gotta be sociable to be social media.
Before that, Susanne Bartsch discovered, rescued, and gave "freaks and outsiders" night club kids, artists, and performance artists their first big break, entertaining and performing at parties, first promoting clubs, art galleries, and eventually gyms that morphed from Dave Barton Gym to hyper-stylish Equinox, where disco and theater meets the gym.
As a punctual Swiss with German discipline, Susanne is one heck of a producer and director.  She infused her promotional parties with art and culture from her European heritage.  Party as opera.
She gave RuPaul his first break, leading up to the Emmys.
Antonio Lopez 1970: Shttps://trailers.apple.com/trailers/independent/antonio-lopez-1970/ex F
ashion & Disco

Antonio Lopez 1970: Sex, Fashion & Disco,...
If someone calls you "a freak," remember they're talent-less wanna-bes and laze-abouts.  A sixties free love child turned seventies Svengali who lived the life because he was a real deal, Antonio Lopez went from a mere fashion illustrator to discovering icons: Jessica Lange, Pat Cleveland, and Jerry Hall.
He was there for Karl Legerfeld, when he was at Chloe, before he revitalized the olde house of Chanel.
Fashionistas, learn your history.
Yes, it has always been cultured and educated as it is sexy and glamourous.

Jeremy Piven, Caitlyn Jenner, & Ne-Yo Presenting a Good Face for Face Forward.

By Laura Medina

When Beverly Hills and Hollywood come together for a fundraiser, they do it big with a big heart.

Alright, if people missed out during the TV industry's Emmy Weekend, Face Forward follows it in its footsteps and use the reason of doing a "do-over" to raise money to for reconstructive/plastic surgery for facial damaged victims of terrorism and domestic abuse victims.  With a fresh face, victims will have the self-esteem and the self-confidence to move on and move up to rise above the terrorists and the bullying abusers.

Plastic surgeons go out of their way to reconstruct the physical to rebuild the mentality and the emotions of these patients.

How do they pay for this?

Easy, Face Forward throws annually gala to cover the cost every year.

Maxium Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd, the couple of "Dancing With The Stars," showed their hearts on the red carpet.

Mrs. Deborah Alessi founded Face Forward in 2007. As a survivor of domestic violence herself, Deborah is a true an advocate of this worthy cause. To help other survivors get a second chance at life, Mrs. Alessi recruited her husband and renowned facial reconstructive surgeon Dr. David Alessi M.D.  Their goal, to create a healthy, happy, and safe environment for survivors and their children.

One in three women and one in seven men in the United States alone have been victims of severe physical abuse from an intimate partner.  Approximately two-thirds of reported domestic violence incidents are classified as “simple assaults”, which result in disfigurements that are at least as serious as 90% of all rapes and robberies. Sadly, there are very few treatment options for victims of abuse.

Victims of human trafficking are subject to physical injuries and psychological and emotional abuse on a daily basis. Injuries such as broken bones, concussions, burns, traumatic brain injury are but a few physical issues. 75 % suffer from mental health issues such as anxiety, depression and PTSD. A staggering 50% of trafficking victims are under the age of 16.

It is estimated that an act of domestic violence occurs every 15 seconds somewhere in the United States. That figure translates to over 2.5 million victims per year. The effects of continued or traumatic abuse are lasting and indelible. From broken noses and cheekbones, stab wounds, burns and acid attacks, these assaults often result in serious disfigurements which due to high medical costs involved, lack of insurance and support, often go untreated for many years. These marks are a constant reminder of a tortuous past and significantly affect the ability of abuse survivors to interact with the public, erase the past and find courage to move forward with dignity.

The mission of Face Forward is to provide physical and emotional reconstruction for women, children and men who have been victimized by domestic violence, human trafficking or any cruel acts of crime. Face Forward vows to provide each survivor with the best possible treatment to help repair both the internal and external scars, all at no cost to the patient.

Face Forward wasn’t created just to remove the physical damage caused by violence. It was created to heal people’s lives and restore their emotional health. We give our patients a “hand up” not a “hand out” and by doing so, they overcome various obstacles in life and with our help, manage to create a better future. By helping them believe that anything is possible, we have seen our patients succeed in many ways. Some have become Advocates, International Motivational Speakers, Founders of their own Non-Profit Organization and much more.

A proof of reinventation and fortunate enough to benefit from reconstructive surgery, Caitlyn Jenner shows her support for Face Forward patient, a London acid attack patient, Andreas Christopheros, UK Acid Attack Survivor case of mistaken identity.

Brigitte Nielsen showed her support with that evening's emcee and host, Jeremy Piven…

Proving he's Jeremy Piven, he jokingly apologize on playing a douchebag, Ari Gold, on "Entourage."

Annalynne McCord and...

John Savage also got Face Forward's back...

Ne-Yo was the musical headliner for the gala.
