June is National Gin Month.

Distillery No. 209 help launch both the White Party Summer Season and National Gin Month by debuting its Sauvignon Blanc Barrel Reserve Gin at the Viceroy Palm Springs this past recent Friday afternoon.

Everything was brighten by the Vitamin C, lemon-themed Viceroy and its lemon-themed restaurant, Citron.

The local Palm Springs socialites and the emerging Gen-X elites welcomed Summer in Summer Whites.


Believe it or not, Citron at the Viceroy in Palm Springs is the place to go for savory brussel sprouts Beignets and Lemon Custard Beignets.  Party-goers feasted on them, along with the traditional salmon finger sandwiches.

The most popular gin punch was the Viceroy English Breakfast, here's the recipe:

1½ ounce No. 209 Sauvignon Blanc Aged Gin
¾ ounce Grand Marnier
¾ ounce black tea (cold)
Bar spoon orange marmalade
¾ ounce fresh lemon juice
½ ounce egg white
Instructions: Add all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into tall glass. Garnish with lemon wheel.
