SHISEIDO Unveils the Global Artist Collective

Since its inception in 1872, SHISEIDO has remained an avid supporter of the arts and emerging talent. From the SHISEIDO Gallery in Ginza, Tokyo (an exhibition space said to be Japan’s oldest art gallery still in operation) to its iconic Art House museum in Kakegawa, the tradition of patronage continues, as art remains at the core of everything the company does today. The latest iteration of this rich history and longstanding bond between SHISEIDO and art is the Global Artist Collective, an esteemed group of beauty ambassadors brought together by the brand to present the new SHISEIDO Makeup collection to the world.

This talented group of visionaries is led by Global Color Artist Patrick Ta. “We were drawn to Patrick’s unique aesthetic and bold use of color, as well as his deep respect for Japanese culture and beauty,” explains Jill Scalamandre, President of SHISEIDO’s Global Makeup Center of Excellence. Joining Ta is APAC Ambassador Pony; Japan Color Artist Hiro Odagiri; North America Color Artists Vincent Oquendo and Lottie; and EMEA Color Artist Gregoris Pyrpylis. While each artist hails from a different culture or country, and has his or her own distinct signature, a special tie to Japan is what unites every member of this international collective. “We chose this diverse group of artists not only because they are masters of their craft, but also because they are representative of what SHISEIDO has always stood for: artistic expression, creativity, and innovation,” says Scalamandre.

In his role as Global Color Artist, Ta—a professional makeup artist based in Los Angeles, California—will promote SHISEIDO to his audience around the world. With nearly one million Instagram followers and a roster of supermodels and celebrities that reaches every corner of the globe, Ta will continue to share his universal approach with his international fan base via social media. Pony, a fellow internet sensation and Korean blogger known for her incredible makeup transformations, is already well connected with SHISEIDO’s APAC clientele thanks to her visibility on YouTube and other social media platforms. After getting his start at the SHISEIDO Beauty Academy in Tokyo and quickly rising through the ranks, Odagiri’s career comes full circle as the company’s Japan Color Artist. Elegance and attention to detail are key components of both his work and Japanese beauty at large.
Oquendo, a born-and-raised New Yorker who splits his time between New York City and Los Angeles, will focus his efforts on North America. Known for his glamorous looks, Oquendo will reveal the secrets he’s used for the red carpet and beyond with SHISEIDO consumers all over the continent. Lottie, a makeup artist raised in Southern California who also splits her time between New York City and Los Angeles, will join Oquendo in spreading SHISEIDO’s message throughout North America. With a background in graphic design, Lottie brings her inherent understanding of light, color, and unparalleled creativity to the brand.

Finally, Pyrpylis is a pro who has painted famous faces all over the world thanks to his keen eye for color and texture. Born and raised in Greece, he has developed a special relationship with consumers throughout the entire EMEA region.

With their various backgrounds and individual styles, each ambassador will bring the SHISEIDO Makeup collection to life in a new way in all four corners of the world. Members of the Global Artist Collective will express the brand’s new motto, “Beauty Reimagined. Beauty Made With Soul.,” through their distinctive work that continues to defy borders and define what beauty means today.

DEWS is an entirely new category that recreated light and transforms it on the surface of the skin. Aura Dew Face, Eyes, Lip is available in three shades that evoke this highlighter’s otherworldly qualities.

DEWS RECREATED
SHISEIDO Makeup reimagines beauty by taking an entirely new approach to cosmetics via four innovative and sensorial textures: Inks, Powders, Gels, and Dews. Rooted  in rich heritage, each collection features breakthrough technology from Japan  that makes the visible feel invisible.

Dews don’t simply seek to illuminate; rather its goal is to transform  any surface using unparalleled levels of multifaceted light.

THE VISIBLE FEELS INVISIBLE “Since its inception, SHISEIDO has pioneered the use of light optic technology by infusing its skincare and complexion products with light-reflecting and light-absorbing properties,” says Jill Scalamandre, President of Shiseido Global Makeup Center of Excellence. “The Dews texture collection isn’t about covering or masking the complexion, rather it’s primary focus is to optimize and enhance the skin.”

INNOVATION: Equal parts fun and challenging, Gail Boyé, SVP of Global Product Development for SHISEIDO Makeup, devised a revolutionary “clarity matrix” that suspends multidimensional pearls of various shapes and sizes in a breathable, crystalline, cushiony texture that transforms and illuminates skin—making it dance with light that is both dramatic and dynamic. “It’s very much like the night sky,” explains Boyé. “If you have a cloudy sky, it’s harder to see the stars. If you have a clear sky, you’re really going to see them pop.” Comprising of ultra-fine rose, silver, and gold Japanese pearls—not pigment— Aura Dew Face, Eyes, Lip’s Enhanced Light Refractive Technology eliminates any chalkiness, allowing all three selfie-friendly shades to meld seamlessly with every skin tone. This multi-use product also works in tandem with SHISEIDO’s vast range of eye, lip, and cheek products, enabling users to customize their own unique level of radiance without adding weight or compromising color. And unlike traditional highlighting powders or glitter, Aura Dew doesn’t migrate thanks to the latest generation of silicone polymers, film formers, and volatiles, which provide this lustrous formula with 12 hours of staying  power. The result: a head-turning glow that feels invisible.

BEAUTY MADE WITH SOUL: “From the clarity of the night sky over the serene botanical gardens in Kyoto to the frenetic rush of light and energy at Shibuya Crossing, you are immediately  taken by the light in Japan,” says James Boehmer, Global Director of Artistry for SHISEIDO.

COLOR INSPIRATION: Available in three universal shades reflective of Aura Dew  Face, Eyes, Lip’s otherworldly qualities.

APPLICATION: Use fingertips to glide Aura Dew Face, Eyes, Lip across skin for a weightless wash  of celestial sparkle that seemingly floats over the high points of the face. For a more diffused finish, reach for the NANAME FUDE Multi Eye Brush to blend shimmer effortlessly across the lids. Or, use  the Yane Hake Precision Eye Brush to concentrate the formula along the inner corners of the eyes  or outline the cupid’s bow of the lip.

J-BEAUTY TIP: To create a shimmering glaze that can be applied to both lips and cheeks,  blend Aura Dew with Crystal GelGloss, or dust it over ImperialLash MascaraInk for a subtle,  eye-brightening effect.

PRICE: $25 New SHISEIDO Makeup will be available globally beginning August 15, 2018 at select retailers.

GELS are rediscovered via formulas that juxtapose a durable, high-impact finish with a featherweight feel. This range includes 28 VisionAiry Gel Lipsticks (which boast state-of-the-art Triple Gel Technology), and one Crystal GelGloss. The shade names in this category are sourced from both ancient and modern Japan.

GELS REDISCOVERED

SHISEIDO Makeup reimagines beauty by taking an entirely new approach to cosmetics via four innovative and sensorial textures—Inks, Powders, Gels, and Dews— that make the visible feel invisible.

Gels glide seamlessly across skin leaving behind a weightless wash of high-impact color.
THE VISIBLE FEELS INVISIBLE Leveraging almost 150 years of expertise and innovation in skincare and cosmetics, the team at SHISEIDO created a collection of next-generation gels. “This texture is very important in skincare because it absorbs instantly, comforts the skin, and delivers the maximum amount of benefits,” says Jill Scalamandre, President of Shiseido Global Makeup Center of Excellence. “We wanted to translate those same qualities to makeup and provide intense, featherweight pigment that seemingly floats across the face.”

Crystal GelGloss

INNOVATION: This flexible formula boasts a superior refractive index that boosts color vibrancy when worn as a top coat and creates the illusion of fuller lips. Unlike most glosses, this crystalline fluid  is infused with high-shine polymers that provide a Lucite-like finish that looks wet. In addition  to high shine, lips are also wrapped with moisture. Free of shimmer that can compromise clarity, this crystal-clear varnish is contained in a sleek tube with an integrated applicator that helps prevent  contamination after the gloss is layered over pigmented products.
J-BEAUTY TIP: Apply directly to bare lips or use as a top coat to add instant sheen to any product underneath. Pat this ultra-smooth gloss across the tops of cheekbones for a dewy effect, or layer it  over Minimalist WhippedPowder Blush for a radiant flush. Mix directly with Aura Dew Face, Eyes, Lip  for multi-dimensional sparkle. Or, lend lips major shine and create the illusion of volume by swathing  it across VisionAiry Gel Lipstick or ModernMatte Powder Lipstick.
PRICE: $22

VisionAiry Gel Lipstick range

INNOVATION: SHISEIDO invented a weightless, Triple Gel Technology featuring a revolutionary combo of agar, clay, and copolymer gels that allow high levels of pigment to converge with water for a cushion-y, comfortable feel that stays put for hours. “It’s a whole new way of looking at lipstick,” explains Gail Boyé, SVP of Global Product Development for SHISEIDO Makeup. “These elements are normally incompatible, so this balance of pigment, water, and unparalleled glide is a true breakthrough.” In addition to the Triple Gel Technology, this formula is made of 15% water to provide a cooling burst upon coming into contact with lips and intense, lasting hydration. The result: vivid, high-coverage pigment. To keep this revolutionary lipstick as fresh as possible, the tube comes sealed in an air-tight silver wrapper to preserve its longevity and integrity.

BEAUTY MADE WITH SOUL: Designers and developers looked to the SHISEIDO archives when devising this this slender bullet that provides the ultimate level of precision straight from the tube. They were inspired by Inouï, a sleek collection created for the Japanese “career woman” in 1977.

COLOR INSPIRATION: The shade names in the VisionAiry Gel Lipstick range are based  on the bustling urban metropolis that is modern Tokyo.

POWDERS reinvents traditional pigments of the past via breathable, buildable, and blendable formulas that float effortlessly across skin. In the lineup are 24 ModernMatte Powder Lipsticks, eight Essentialist Eye Palettes, eight Minimalist WhippedPowder Blushes, and eight InnerGlow CheekPowers named after SHISEIDO’s many muses, hip Tokyo streets, and Japan’s buzzing nightlife.

J-BEAUTY TIP: Ginza Red (222) was inspired by the upscale, fashionable neighborhood in Tokyo, where, in 1916, SHISEIDO opened its first cosmetics shop. “It’s a timeless, universal color that flatters every skin tone,” says James Boehmer, Global Director of Artistry for SHISEIDO Makeup

Essentialist Eye Palette range

INNOVATION: Developed exclusively for SHISEIDO, these weightless powder shadows are  made using a breakthrough Cream Powder Matrix Technology comprised of an emollient blend of  oils and esters. A transparent base eliminates any chalkiness and lends lids pure color that lasts  12 hours without creasing, while spherical powders offer a smooth, rollerball effect with zero drag.  The four coordinating colors—available in satin, matte, and shimmer finishes to create a multitude  of looks—come contained in a super sleek compact developed by the brand’s premiere packaging design architect.

BEAUTY MADE WITH SOUL: Known for its vibrant, inventive, and often quirky street style,  these palettes draw inspiration from Tokyo’s bustling neighborhoods. Named after iconic streets— like Hanatsubaki Street—a historic neighborhood known for its mamasan bars and jazz clubs—offers up a sultry range of smoky purples. these ultra-sleek compacts contain colors that convey the unique energy of each district.

01 Miyuki Street Nudes (matte ivory, matte taupe, matte sand, shimmer copper) 02 Platinum Street Metals (shimmer white gold, shimmer silver, shimmer pewter, shimmer bronze) 03 Namiki Street Nature (shimmer gold, shimmer antique gold, shimmer moss green, matte brown) 04 Kaigan Street Waters (shimmer white, shimmer gunmetal, matte navy, matte black) 05 Kotto Street Vintage (matte beige, matte ash brown, shimmer neutral brown, shimmer graphite) 06 Hanatsubaki Street Nightlife (matte mauve, shimmer taupe, matte plum, chocolate brown with red pearl) 07 Cat Street Pops (shimmer baby pink, shimmer lilac, matte magenta, grape with gold pearl) 08 Jizoh Street Reds (shimmer rose gold, shimmer copper, matte muted red, matte espresso)
PRICE: $34

ModernMatte Powder Lipstick range

INNOVATION: Spherical pigments suspended in an ultra-clear silicone base float across the lips, blurring any imperfections and providing spectacular color payoff. “It’s almost like airbrushing your lips, but with the convenience and seamless glide of a stick,” explains Gail Boyé, SVP of Global Product  Development for SHISEIDO Makeup. Unlike most matte lip products, this formula offers the comfort  of a balm by melting and transforming into an ultra-thin powder that envelops the mouth in creamy, opaque color. The matte finish absorbs light rather than refracting it, lending statement- making shades more richness and depth. The custom, angular bullet not only reflects Japan’s  modern approach to architecture, but the square shape provides extreme precision and control  for perfectly delineated lips sans liner.

BEAUTY MADE WITH SOUL: From mega clubs to cozy karaoke bars, Japan is renowned  for its vibrant nightlife. After dark, Tokyo’s hippest neighborhoods are illuminated by neon signs and dazzling billboards, while energetic and diverse crowds of partygoers pack the streets. This range  of vivid, velvety lipsticks takes its inspiration from the action that happens after the sun goes down  and the motley mix of characters that come out to play.

COLOR INSPIRATION: These sexy and daring shades were made for gliding past the velvet rope.

J-BEAUTY TIP: Apply straight to lips using the bespoke bullet or use the YANE HAKE Precision Eye Brush for more definition. To add extra emphasis to a bold pout, trace lightly around the edge  of lipstick with concealer, says James Boehmer Global Director of Artistry for SHISEIDO Makeup. Give a matte mouth an instant boost with a quick swipe of Crystal GelGloss or tap Aura Dew Face, Eyes, Lip over top for a glittery finish minus the mess

InnerGlow CheekPowder range

INNOVATION: This blush and highlighter hybrid is the future of cheek color thanks to a Cream  Powder Matrix Technology that helps this texture stay put for eight hours. Refined mica provides  a lit-from-within glow, a transparent base allows for true color payoff, and a blend of spherical  powders, silicone oils, and emollient esters offers superior glide. Use the various shades to  lend the face an instant, illuminating flush or sculpt cheekbones for a subtle contour.

BEAUTY MADE WITH SOUL: Similar to a delicate silk kimono that skims effortlessly  across the body, this innovative formula floats over cheekbones for a naturally radiant flush.

COLOR INSPIRATION: Ethereal shade names play on the idea of lightness and the  diaphanous nature of the cheek color itself.

J-BEAUTY TIP: Using the MARU FUDE Multi Face Brush, apply across the apples and blend  along cheekbones. For an all over glow that flatters any skin tone, reach for Inner Light (01).

Minimalist WhippedPowder Blush range

INNOVATION: Thanks to breakthrough AirFusion Technology, this fluffy, meringue-esque blush blends effortlessly across skin like a mousse, but transforms into an ultra-thin, featherweight powder with a soft matte finish that lasts eight hours. These vivid shades never feel dense or dry and can be washed across skin for a natural flush or layered for more intensity.

BEAUTY MADE WITH SOUL: Whether you desire a kabuki-style cheek draped with dramatic color or a subtle glow, this blush delivers and melds seamlessly with the complexion much like  SHISEIDO’s world-renowned skincare. The color palette is inspired by the brand’s many muses throughout the years. The face of the new Powders Collection, Sonoya Mizuno—a dancer and actress— wears her namesake shade in the campaign, while Chiyoko Tazawa (a dance instructor who became one of the world’s first fashion influencers by reporting on overseas trends and Ginza street style)  was the jumping off point for the radiant rose hue.

COLOR INSPIRATION: Shades are named after SHISEIDO’s brand muses and collaborators  from the company’s inception to the current day.

J-BEAUTY TIP: Apply with fingertips or stipple into cheeks using the silicone side of the  D   DAIYA FUDE Face Duo brush. For a lit-from-within effect, layer a light veil of Synchro Skin Glow Luminizing Fluid Foundation over top.

INKS REDEFINED

SHISEIDO Makeup reimagines beauty by taking an entirely new approach to cosmetics via four innovative and sensorial textures—Inks, Powders, Gels, and Dews— that make the visible feel invisible.

Inks combine bold, saturated color with masterful precision for  a graphic result that is as easy to apply as it is eye-catching.

THE VISIBLE FEELS INVISIBLE This collection was born from shodo, a traditional form of calligraphy rooted in Japanese culture since the early fifth century. “The Ink range offers precision, focus, and saturation,” says Jill Scalamandre, President of SHISEIDO Global Makeup Center of Excellence. This ancient art combined with SHISEIDO’s modern technology created unexpected and innovative formulas that provide incredible pigment, effortless application, and plenty of staying power.

INKS redefines the ancient art form of Japanese calligraphy with products that provide graphic precision and extreme intensity. This collection contains 12 LacquerInk LipShines, 10 KajalInk Artist Shadow, Liner, Brow (a non-traditional three-in-one pencil that can be applied as shadow, liner, or brow definer), five MicroLIner Inks, four Brow InkTrios, one ArchLiner Ink, and two variants of ImperialLash MascaraInk. Each product is paired with a name that reflects its rich pigment payoff and pays homage to the history of Japan.

 LacquerInk LipShine range

INNOVATION: The high-intensity pigment typically found in a liquid lipstick meets the luminosity of a gloss using Liqui-Ink Technology in this weightless formula that never leaves lips feeling dry or sticky thanks to a minimal amount  of waxes. A unique blend of oils provides maximum shine and comfort, while smoothing polymers envelop the pout  in durable, hydrating color that lasts up to four hours. A concave, flocked applicator hugs the contour of the lip and  dispenses the perfect amount of product for full coverage.

BEAUTY MADE WITH SOUL: Inspired by lacquered Japanese furniture and ceramics, SHISEIDO’s expertise  in light optics came into play when creating this lustrous lip fluid with vibrant color payoff.

COLOR INSPIRATION: Straightforward color cues were paired with evocative words that emphasize the bold,  reflective finish of this formula.

J-BEAUTY TIP: Swipe the custom applicator across lips and use the pointed tip to define the inner corners  and bow of the mouth. Wear the lacquer alone or layer it over other lip products. To quickly contour lips, apply  a deep shade all over and pop a brighter hue in the center of the mouth.

Kajal InkArtist  Shadow, Liner, Brow

INNOVATION: “This is the everything pencil,” says Gail Boyé, SVP of Global Product Development  for SHISEIDO Makeup. An all-in-one liner, kajal, eyeshadow, and brow filler, this tear-proof, sweat- resistant, smudge-proof, crease-proof, and waterproof formula provides high-impact pigment with  an even glide and featherweight feel. Tested by ophthalmologists, it is also approved for use on the inner rim of the eye. The soft, graduated point provides a thin, smooth band along the waterline yet  it’s wide enough to be easily swathed across the entire lid. A detachable sharpener was developed  to keep the integrity of the tip intact up until the very last swipe, while a sponge blender can be  used to create a diffused finish. “It’s the perfect blend of control, color lay down, and playtime,” adds Boyé, allowing users to achieve precise application or course correct before long-wear enhancing ingredients set the formula for 12 hours.

BEAUTY MADE WITH SOUL: Throughout Japan’s vast history, color has continually been  linked to a myriad of customs and even rank. “Some shades were considered imperial, while others were designated for the stage,” says James Boehmer, Global Director of Artistry for SHISEIDO. “We  loved the idea of taking very traditional colors and reimagining them in a rebellious form that can  be used on lash lines, lids, and brows.”

COLOR INSPIRATION: The shade names are inspired by evocative imagery and icons of  ancient and modern Japan. Gunjo—a pricey blue pigment derived from azurite that is traditionally  used by Nihonga painters—was the jumping off point for Gunjo Blue, while scarlet-colored beans  typically stuffed inside mochi (a classic rice cake) prompted Azuki Red.

J-BEAUTY TIP: Create a statement in one spot. “Go really bold on the eye or brow and keep  the rest of the face very minimal and balanced,” explains Boehmer of this approach that reflects  the tenets of iki, a popular Japanese aesthetic concept developed during the Edo period that  entails looking effortlessly elegant or chic.

MicroLiner Ink range

INNOVATION: This foolproof liner infused with high-impact pigments delivers saturated, matte color that never smudges. The weightless, inky pencil features Thermo-Sensory Technology that allows this formula to transform from a solid to a liquid upon coming into contact with skin, creating a flexible, water-resistant film that offers up to 24 hours of wear. Thanks to its ultra-thin diameter, this next- generation pencil can be dotted between lashes or glided across eyes with remarkable precision.

BEAUTY MADE WITH SOUL: The colors of this micro tip liner are inspired by sumi ink sticks used in traditional Japanese calligraphy. Similar to the rich, opaque fluid shodo masters have swathed across paper for centuries, this unique formula melds seamlessly with the lash line for a subtle or  striking effect.

J-BEAUTY TIP: Instantly refresh tired eyes by reaching for this formula in navy or white. For even more impact, trace liner just above your crease and connect it in a V-shape at the outer corners of  eyes for a futuristic take on a classic feline flick.

ArchLiner Ink range
INNOVATION: With its specially designed angled micro tip and revolutionary flow-through system, this ingenious product takes the intimidation factor and guesswork out of liquid liner. The unique shape and ergonomic design create an entirely new-yet-intuitive gesture for applying eyeliner, and eliminate the once-unavoidable blind spot that is often created by the user’s hand or the pen itself. Saturated with a high level of ultra-black pigment, this quick-dry formula provides up to 24 hours of waterproof color to help prevent smudging and can also be built up without skipping.

BEAUTY MADE WITH SOUL: This elegant liner with an innovative arched shape offers  maximum precision and control for defining eyes. Available in one shade—a rich, satin black—this formula exemplifies shibui, a Japanese aesthetic term that “translates to simple, subtle, and unobtrusive beauty,” explains Boehmer.

APPLICATION: “How you hold the product determines how it works,” explains Boehmer. Lift the chin and look down into a mirror. Next, hold the pointed tip down so that the handle is perpendicular to the face and trace along the lashes to create a fine line. For more stability and control, flip the pen  so that the curved portion is facing out and the back of the tip is parallel to the lash line, then drag from inner to outer corner. To increase the intensity and thickness of the line, point the tip up vertically toward your brow so that the curve hugs the lash line. Create the illusion of thicker, more voluminous lashes by dotting the ultra-fine tip between hairs.

J-BEAUTY TIP: Crafting symmetrical cat-eyes with every application is easier and more foolproof than ever. To create a quick flick, simply press the back side of the tip along the outer corner of each eye so that the curved portion of the pen is directed toward your temple.

Brow InkTrio range

INNOVATION: This three-in-one tool contains everything needed to balance brows. One side features an ultra-slim, matte pencil that produces hair-like strokes that last eight hours. Use it to correct, shape, extend, and create the illusion of a higher arch. “We worked very hard to achieve the perfect amount of payoff so that brows always look natural—never painted on,” explains Boyé of the sweat-, smudge-, and water-resistant formula. The opposite end features a sponge applicator pre-loaded with a featherweight powder that boasts tonal pearls for a delicate sheen that fills brows minus any hard edges.  “The powder is intentionally lighter than the pencil so it can be used alone or in tandem to add depth  to arches,” says Boehmer. A built-in spooly brush makes for convenient blending and grooming.

BEAUTY MADE WITH SOUL: Fukinsei is a Japanese design principle that celebrates beauty  in asymmetry and imperfection, which is key when it comes to brow grooming. “Arches should be  balanced—not necessarily identical”, says Boehmer.
COLOR INSPIRATION: A comprehensive range of neutral shades that are never too warm  or too cool guarantee everyone can achieve balanced brows regardless of hair color or skin tone.

01 Blonde     02 Taupe     03 Deep Brown     04 Ebony

J-BEAUTY TIP: Use the spooly first to brush up the brow to determine its natural shape. Then, fill with the pencil and/or powder. Finish by combing through hair once again to blend the pigment and set arches in place. “Layering the pencil side under the powder creates more depth and adds intensity,” says Boehmer.
PRICE: $24
ImperialLash MascaraInk  and ImperialLash MascaraInk Waterproof

INNOVATION: This exclusive brush is a product of patented technology and features a dual  application system. Each bristle is made from a new soft silicone material unlike anything on the market today. The bristles are aligned in a staggered position to create a unique reservoir that delivers definition in a single swipe minus any clumps. The ultra-fine crushed pigments, and precise blend of waxes wrap each hair with a weightless, ophthalmologist-tested formula that lasts 12 hours without smudging.  The high coverage, waterproof version delivers sweat- and tear-resistant results that stand up under the most extreme conditions. The crown-like tip can be also used to grab hard-to-reach hairs near  the inner corners of eyes and bulk up bottom lashes.

BEAUTY MADE WITH SOUL: Japan has long been the capital for mascara innovation.  SHISEIDO yet again leads the way with patented brush technology that leaves lashes with a vinyl  finish reminiscent of the country’s world-renowned lacquerware or shikki.
COLOR INSPIRATION: “The reference to the Imperial era of Japan calls to mind a superior  product,” says Boehmer, who was inspired by sumi ink (used for calligraphy) when creating this  rich, velvety black.

01 Sumi Black     01 Sumi Black Waterproof

J-BEAUTY TIP: For maximum definition, work the wand in a zig-zag motion from root to tip.  Use the specially designed tip to tease and separate lashes.
PRICE: $25
