It was a throwback to the Nineties' rave scene, which ironically was the proceeder to today's Coachella, when MAC threw a launch party for its Playland Collection on its Robertson Boulevard in West Hollywood.
The stiltwalkers jumped right out of the long-departed but still beloved Tunnel and Limelight when just dressing creatively was enough to be make you a star.
The juicy corals and fruity purples and candy neons signals Spring is coming.
It was a dessert feast. The caramel popcorn was studded with granola or glazed in strawberry. They even had adult peppermint cream shooters.
MAC's next collection for Summer is making a splash this Friday and this weekend. Synchronized swimmers will perform inside a 12 foot aquatic tank on Hollywood Boulevard, wearing the Alluring Aquatic Collection. MAC artists will be there for three days doing Alluring Aquatic makeovers.
