Christopher Guy's third annual BritWeek Design Icon Award to Nina Campbell

By Laura Medina

After designing the decor for Annabel’s Private Club, The Savoy Lobby (with David Linley), The Groucho Club, The Hotel Parc Victor Hugo in Paris, The Campbell Apartment Bar in New York’s Grand Central Station, the New Sheridan Hotel in Telluride, Colorado, and lines of bespoke furniture, wallpaper design, table linens, china and glassware, apparel, rugs and cashmere throws, Christopher Guy, the home of Britweek's Design Awards, honored Nina Campbell with the Britweek Design Icon Award.

Ms. Campbell was over-come with love and admiration, joking, if they're not careful, she might relocated to Los Angeles permanently.

It's also the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Beatles landing in America when a singer popped up and sang classic Beatle tunes.

It ain't the Design Icon Awards unless there is fashion.  As the finale, a parade of male models strut around, showcasing the latest in Porsche Design menswear.

Expect more Britweek celebrations coming soon.
