"New Girl" Actress, Hannah Simone, the siblings David Coba, Joshua Coba, and Jessica Coba of European Wax Center, breakdown the Golden Globe red carpet beauty trends...
INSPIRATION: “I really wanted to create a contrast to her silver dress.
This edgy look is all about a bold lip and full, fierce eyelashes.”
Makeup artist, Marina Gravani’S PREP TIPS: “Make sure to visit a European Wax Center for
waxing at least 2 days before an event or your makeup won’t hold on the area you waxed.” Her recommendation, just incase there are any hair emergencies: “European Wax Center’s Tweezer Kit (Slant) is a great tool for the night of an event, in case you have any strays.”
EYES: For Hannah’s eyes, Marina created a clean look to complement the bold lip. Marina then used a gloss on the eyelid and plumped up the lashes. In order to make the lashes to look really full, she added false
lashes using European Wax Center Tweezer Kit (SLANT). The slant of the tweezers made applying the lashes easier.
FACE: Marina used minimal makeup on the face in order to keep the focus on Simone’s lip. She used bronzer as the blush, highlighting the cheekbone.
LIPS: For Hannah’s lips, Marina applied a dark color to create the bold contrast to her silver dress.
Kate Hudson not only pushed that the keyhole neckline, in a glided, full-sleeved Alexander McQueen gown is hot while keeping you warm, you can get her simple sleek hair...
Celebrity hairstylist David Babaii,
"I wanted to show off Kate's healthy, shiny hair in a style that
emphasizes her true Hollywood beauty. As the perfect "Muse" and my
inspiration, Kate is my generation's Brigitte Bardot showing off soft
voluptuous hair that is touchable, glamorous and now Kate's very own
signature look."
To achieve, David used IT&LY HAIRFASHION'S Purity Design Line that gives a natural, long-lasting hold which is perfect for beautiful results. David started with IT&LY's Pure Water Drops Serum before blow drying. Next, he added IT&LY's Pure Style Mousse Strong
and used a medium round brush at the root area to add volume then
switching to a large round brush to smooth and create soft rounded
edges. After drying, David created a natural side part spritzing IT&LY's Pure Volumizing Eco
at the base for added lift and down the shaft for more piecey
definition. For her sexy fringe he wrapped the bang area around a medium
round brush spraying a small amount of IT&LY's Pure Volumizing Eco again. With the blow dryer temperature on high, he directed heat on the brush followed by a quick blast
of cool air to set. Gently he removed the brush to release the fringe.
With his fingers he combed through and allowed the hair to fall
naturally into place. To finish, he misted the hair with IT&LY Pure Definition Hair Spray for soft touchable hair with memory hold. Now everyone will ask, "Can I have the Kate Hudson look?
"Soft, voluptuous, healthy hair never looked more glamorous", says David Babaii.
You don't need a full head of hair to get red carpet locks. Actually, the red carpet hair trends offer solutions to those awkward in-between hair moments.
While waiting for the vitamins and supplements to kick in for lucious locks, you can copy Jessica Alba's take, looking effortless as ever, Jessica Alba kept her hair simple and elegant with a side swept style. Achieving the length and volume of this hairdo requires a few clip-in extensions, bobby pins to pull the hair to the side and a curling iron. SHE by SO.CAP.USA clip-in hair extensions provide the volume and length, can be styled like regular hair and are easily put in and taken out.
Want to add more "poof" to your crop top, you can add a ponytail like Zooey Deschanel. Her perfectly coiffed ponytail topped off her look. Though this is an easy style to achieve, the best part about her ponytail was the thickness and that it stood out against her dress and pearls. Adding SHE by SO.CAP.USA’s clip-in ponytail extension will add the volume needed to achieve Zooey’s style and modernize this classic style.
Thanks to technology, the ease of a sticker while the fancy decoration of time-consuming nail art has come together finally. Think of these fancy nail stickers as makeup for your fingers.
Celebs like Zooey Deschanel, Julianne Hough, and Sarah Hyland all accessorized their manis with metallic, glitter, and custom designs to add that ‘something extra’ for the red carpet. Want to get the look? Mars the Salon is an expert in nail design and is known for creating personalized nails for any occasion. Similar to these looks on the red carpet, Mars uses texture and pattern to play up the basic mani and I’ve included a few images below for reference. Owner and nail expert Hiroko Fujikawa, added on feather and the usual bejeweled stones for 3-D texture and Edwardian flare on the fingers.
These fancy nail art is the newest beauty trend to break out of the beauty lounges all week; and they're here to stay on the red carpet. They go way beyond the French Manicure and adds sizzle beyond the rings and bracelets. They're here to stay. But if you want to refresh your nails with new textures and designs, just peel them off. No solutions needed.
Actresses lucky enough to be invited to the Golden Globe itself or any of the swanky parties staking claim on the Beverly Hilton's compound, were in a hunt for any fancy finger candy that they can slip on then slip off quickly.
