Tarte Gifts Kindness on Its 25th Birthday

Tarte Cosmetics’ bus tour celebrating its 25th birthday.

Since Tarte is big enough to treat influencers with overseas and international city trips where influencers have to test drive Tarte’s goodies in various climates and environments then makes fun of those who don’t get the assignment, Tarte is big enough not to get, but to give back for thanking fans while giving those who deserve the most-teachers.

At each bus stop, they’ll stop at a select Ulta for a mere one hour then they hop onto a school where they gift teachers well-deserved goodies that will be much appreciated.

Tarte’s founder’s mom was a teacher. With her success, Maureen thought giving back to under-paid, unappreciated, and over-worked teachers, treats, would a wonderful idea.

It is.

At each one hour Ulta stop, Tarte encourages fans to show, be on the local morning news then be gifted with the freshest and newest Tarte’s products, always healthy.

Gibson Showroom’s Pre-NAMM Showcase Party Warms Grammy Week.

Warming up for music’s biggest night, the Grammys, requires

rehearsals with the best instruments and equipments.

This is where National Association of Music Merchandisers come in.

Still strictly an industry only trade show, they’re slowly open up to aspiring musicians for $150 general admission ticket to get our feet wet.

Invitation only, Gibson’s Showroom on the Sunset Strip treated NAMM musicians to a little yet exclusive cocktail party where professional musicians can try out Gibson’s Guitars for the upcoming Grammys.

Austen Sexton did an intimate concert set for fellow musicians.

If you all want to get y’all’s feet wet (literally during the rain season), spend the $150 ticket then go scope out NAMM.

It Was Raining Music During Grammy Week.

It was soaking wet with talent during Grammy Week.

Larkin Poe wasn’t afraid of the rain. They rocked the rain-soaked stage, pool side at the rockers’ Sunset Marquis, where they have a recording studio and the Cavatina Restaurant where the real party was held.

Post-quarantine, it was pouring rockers, braving their hairdos, their leather coats and jackets in the elements, to celebrate the music industry.

Best quality eye candy, Nile Rogers, Run DMC, and Boy George strolled between Cavatina, the poolside stage, and the Morrison Hotel photo gallery, celebrating legendary rock photographer, Mick Rock.

YOSHIKI Has His Own Star Now!

With Grammy Awards fast approaching, it’s only appropriate that multi-talented heavy metal drummer, pianist, fashion designer, composer, and vintner, YOSHIKI finally got his recognition. His own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, in front of the legendary Mann’s Chinese Theatre, in the heart of Hollywood.

In the celebratory luncheon, YOSHIKI revealed he’ll be auctioning off his one-of-kind crystal piano for Japan’s earthquake relief.

He used the luncheon as a fond farewell to his crystal piano, by playing it, the last time before he’s auctioning it off.

With him designing contemporary kimonos, producing his own wine, and composing, YOSHIKI ain’t going nowhere.

Awards Season is in full swing now.

Thanks to the writers’ and actors’ strikes, the Emmys is now lumped with all the other major and minor award shows.

HBO threw a chic yet family-friendly cocktail to celebrate being nominated as Best Documentary for their surfing documentary, “100 Ft. Wave.”

The best oceanic photographers and their surfer subjects were there, chitchatting with guests and media, enjoying being noticed and honored.

Parties are still getting started.
