The Pink Pump Affair is a charity gala that raises fund for youth and young adult programs that trains them with skills for jobs and careers. This scribe’s mom always taught, you should always party for charity.

Well can’t think of no better time than the Pink Pump Affair. 

This year’s Affair is Rio Carnival theme, all clad in various shades of pink. Think flamingos.

Interviewing Gold Medalist, Olympic Gymnast, Jordan Chiles talks about the different energy and vibes being under the spotlight of the pink carpet versus the Olympic pressure in the arena. 

Kevan Hall talks about having his runway show as the highlight finale.

Vivica A. Fox showed love, when she presented Yvette Nicole Brown with the Visionary Award.

Since the gala was during lunch, the Beverly Hilton served the plumpest, juiciest Jerk Chicken with a coconut cream lava dome cake. One needs all that crispy, spicy protein and creamy carbs to stay fueled. 

Sunday Afternoon was tickled pink.
