Glen Ivy Hot Springs, A Hideaway From the Gateway.

 By Laura Medina

For Hollywood Entertainment industry insiders, Coachella is wrapping up as Stagecoach is about to rev up.

Pretty soon, it’ll be Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.

Yes, you lucky folks got you all’s tumenscene out in what is a twenty-first century fertility rite of Spring, so close to Earth Day.

Now, your dermis is paying the price for all that partying out in the desert.

Nestled between Santa Ana Mountains, San Gabriel Mountains, and San Bernardino Mountains, Glen Ivy Hot Springs Spa is a slice of valley green heaven hideaway, shielded by the mountains, a California version of Switzerland.

It’s history going back to 1860s. While the East Coast was wagering the Civil War, an husband was nursing his ailing wife at a mineral hot springs, that later became Glen Ivy Hot Springs Spa and Golf Course to this day.

A long-standing history of retreating from current day stress, Glen Ivy Hot Springs Spa is no slouch in up to date facial and body rejuvenating treatments.

This stressed out scribe was treated to their new Radiant Rejuvenation Glow Facial. Glen Ivy has the most knowledgeable facialists, in a state of art spa, the Comfort Zone. It also sells the spa’s own skincare that guests can take home to keep up the facials. To maintain those healthy glows, the Comfort Zone also sells Coola Sunscreen and Glo Cosmetics.

It’s a two-steps facial that’s best for those naughty moms and dads who know better to pick at their acne scars but did. Now, they’re smarting for a facial.

Radiant Rejuvenation Glow Facial’s first step is an effective yet gentle acid peel that eats away at the blemishes and the fine wrinkles.

Then, the second facial is applied. The second facial is a light yet moisturizing mask that replenishes and heals the new layer of skin, freed from UV damages and blemish flaws.

Hence, a “rejuvenated” new you.

In between, the facialist massages the stress out of your scalp and neck, ah.

Before or after, guests can soak in the day spa’s mineral jacuzzis, splash in salt water pool, or soak in the mud bath.

Guests can refuel and treat themselves at Ivy Kitchen and the Cafe for breakfast and lunch.

They have activities  such as floral arrangements and intentional bracelets crafting in their “secret garden.”  Their garden hosts a many weddings.

Too bad, Glen Ivy Springs Hot Springs normally closes at 5pm.

However, it’ll stay open later until 9pm, during Summer. Stay posted for that.

Sigh, Glen Ivy Hot Springs is an oasis for the senses.
