Coachella-ing at NYLON Magazine's Midnight Garden, Lucky Brand x Rolling Stone's Desert Jam and Luxury Experience & Co Gifting Lounge.

By Laura Medina

Coachella, the music festival has become another form of Spring Break and a Maypole celebration for Young Urban Professionals, that desirable demographic and psychographic.

NYLON Magazine threw a bash celebrating anything Coachella.  It opened as soon as the music festival ends for the night, very convenient for festival attendees.

Evan Ross and Ashley Simpson and Lisa Rinna enjoy the refreshments supporting Coachella's environmentally and healthy ethos in low-calorie, all-natural sodas and coconut water and Ketel One Botanical cocktails.

Since the older Millennials are now the target yuppies, JoJo doing a concert in #booksmartthemovie tent was tween/teen throwback for them.

NYLON, the leading international curator of fashion, beauty, music and pop culture content for today’s millennial woman, along with sponsors, including: Annapurna Pictures, the production studio founded in 2011 that creates sophisticated, high-quality content; CANN, the first cannabis-infused social tonic; Ketel One Botanicals, the super-premium vodka brand rooted in authenticity, honoring tradition and sophisticated taste; Lyft, the transportation network company providing ride-hailing services; ShoeDazzle, a premier American online fashion subscription service; and Uninterrupted, the all-digital sports programming network founded by LeBron James & Maverick Carter.

Friday, April 12, NYLON Media will host its fourth annual star-studded Midnight Garden Party at The NYLON Estate, a secret location {TBA}. The event will feature live, electrifying performances that will be remembered from Coachella 2019. NYLON is teaming up with Warner Brother Records who is bringing beloved singer/songwriter, JoJo, to the stage, along with other surprise guests. The party will also feature high-energy DJ sets by Erika Jayne, star of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Johnny Wujek, the celebrity stylist behind Katy Perry’s vibrant wardrobe, Markus Molinari, renowned DJ and jewelry designer and Pookie, one of Serbia’s most recognized and talented DJ’s who will be closing the night.

Annapurna Pictures will be incorporating experiential elements throughout the estate inspired by its new movie, BookSmart- premiering this May. The film will serve as Olivia Wilde's first debut as a director, starring Beanie Feldstein and Kaitlyn Dever.

CANN will be providing all-natural, refreshing CBD x THC Soda, as well as a dedicated bar on-site where brand ambassadors will educate guests on their products.

Harmless Harvest will provide refreshing coconut water.

Ketel One Botanicals will supply a custom bar with delicious, specialty cocktails and a flower crown station and Lyft will be offering discount codes for attendees along with transportation via branded Lyft buses.

Throughout the night, ShoeDazzle will showcase its new and wildly popular Erika Jayne x ShoeDazzle line while Erika Jayne brings the beats and excites the crowd

Ashley Brinton, singer, was making the rounds at NYLON's Midnight Garden then Lucky Brand x Rolling Stone's Desert Jam.  She performed at the Riviera on Friday and Saturday nights for their Palm Springs Fashion Week.

Guests will also experience Uninterrupted’s Instagrammable art installation on the tennis courts at The Estate which will feature projection mapping curated by Naomi Osaka, Japanese professional tennis player who recently defeated Serena Williams at the US Open Final.

Friday night rolled straight into Saturday afternoon with Lucky Brand's annual Desert Jam, kindly helped out with Rolling Stone Magazine and Jeep.

Since Coachella's best parties are spacious and remote and the cheapest motels and AirBnBs are just as remote, you need a Jeep to go off-roading to those exclusive events and experiences then return you home to your cool and remote lodgings.

Jeep's newest models were out and full-frontal...

Lucky Brand's Desert Jam, with Rolling Stone Magazine was like a mini Coachella concert , poolside.

Rolling Stone's selects the freshest acts and their idea of established band is still everybody else's idea of a newbie.

They saved the best for the last, X Ambassadors.

This scribe first covered and profiled them for Made In America Festival, https://luxurist.blogspot.com/2014/09/the-x-ambassadors-jamie-n-commons.html, when they were just bursting upon the music scene.

Now, they're headlining Lucky Brand x Rolling Stone's Desert Jam.  Soon after, just like everybody else,  the X Ambassadors were dying to take off and catch the real Coachella Festival.

The even fresher Palm Springsteen https://www.facebook.com/palmspringsteen/, Gen-Y version of the Pixies, warmed up the floating, poolside audience, with cow bells...

Becoming what is now a Lucky Brand Desert Jam tradition, all the young newbies diving straight into the pool, from the stage, after rocking under the blazing desert sun.  Fresh blood, fresh talent and thirsty for the pool, as they are hungry and just as grateful to rock poolside.

Drax Project may be the first to hit the stage at 12 noon but they got popular tracks going on, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mc-v9NPveU4  "Woke Up Late" starring  Hailee Steinfeld (Official Music Video) and Liza Koshy.

Lucky guests, metaphorically and literally, chowed on Bacon Wrapped LA Hot Dogs, sip Jack Daniels whiskey cocktails...

Guzzled https://hydratewithcore.com/products/core-organic in Pomegranate Blue Acai and Peach Mango, floating away in the pool, listening to the live bands rocking.
Doing and covering these amazing Coachella-related parties and suites are a great to discover what you need, new product launches, and realizing what you forgot to pack in your get-away tote bag.

There are a many tanning lotions with zero benefits but duh, Coppertone came along with a tanning lotion with benefits, that makes sense...

Coppertone® Glow Sunscreen Lotion with Shimmer, more subtle rose glow shimmer than baked cocoa.  This tanning lotion is packed with SPF 15, 30, and 50.  This scribe used on the face, neck, and chest.  Better face and body makeup.
Speaking for forgetting to pack or not knowing what to pack, thank god for West Elm's Luxury Experience & Co Gifting Lounge.  William-Sonoma's answer to Crate & Barrel and CB2, their LE & Co. Gifting Lounge was an oasis after getting off the long, dusty, and hot drive to the desert.  High Beauty's Cannabis Facial Oil and Moisturizer came in handy when you're complexion is dry and dustry.  Relief.

It's not a headband.  It's Nicole Rose Headphones for girl DJs.  More than a band of roses, these headphones are specifically constructed to the female's ear lobes, ear canal, and drum.
Knowing you're hitting the Coachella party circuit, with two or three more events to go to, and that's not even the festival itself, you need something fun to guzzle and hydrate.
Martinellis' Sparkling Blush, the bubbly apple cider tinted and sweetened with raspberry, is something you need to keep hydrated.
