Target x Hunter Collection Conquered Ultimate Family Festival in Their Version of Coachella as Telly Tubby Land.

By Laura Medina

If Target took over Coachella, then it would be when it took over the Ultimate Family Festival at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Downtown Los Angeles' suburb.

On the Rose Bowl's expansive grounds, Target erected a two-story, one-day pop-up department store, dedicated to the entire Hunter Collection.

Target x Hunter Collection, https://www.target.com/c/hunter-for-target/-/N-ay3d9 turned the remaining Rose Bowl grounds into a Telly Tubby trampoline playground, honoring Hunter's British heritage and rainy climate.

Target x Hunter Collection Ultimate Family Festival got lucky with Los Angeles' necessary rainstorms.  It popped up three days afterwards, when it's sunny but folks are in a mood for rain boots and rain jackets.

The lucky thousand families and single hipster oh and awed over the massive assortment and selection of rough and ready all-weather festival gear and chic camping gear.  Just in time for Coachella and music festival camping.

The most practical the thermal Cooler Backpack to keep your beverage cool as your frustration heats up, out in the elements.

Young moms and dads went crazy with functionality over the rugged but colorful fanny packs.  Yes, it is these young parents that will make the fanny pack trendy again because they have to.  Target x Hunter Collection, https://www.target.com/c/hunter-for-target/-/N-ay3d9 calls them, "bum bag."  It is what it is.

Don't let the look deceive you, the lid are four stackable metal cups stopping a hefty 64 oz. thermos, great for jugging cold drinks during the Summer or sipping soup for both the parent and the kid.

Obviously, Target used the Ultimate Family Festival to promote and advertise the Hunter Collection, in action.  Frugal families and tight-budget young parents and festival- hip hipsters were more than happy to test-drive the collection.

This is a picnic blanket in a bag, with it's own bag.  Still packed up inside, it makes for a good travel seat on the ground, sandy or muddy.

Tent in a bag makes for good shade from the sun and protection from the raining elements for outdoor concert coupling or rain protect for the picnicking families.

The clothing department is upstairs in the pop-up department store, overlooking the festival ground.

Still more rain boots but booties...

Retro-Eighties striped rugby shirts and stripes galore and rain jackets doubling as hooded rain dresses.  Rain gear for the whole family, isn't that the whole point of Target x Hunter Collection?

Not only is Target chic-for-everyone, it's also friendly.  What most festival shoppers don't know, is that Target offered Bag Check and Storage for all your shopping, so you wouldn't be weighted-down, hauling your "haul."

Everyone at the festival gets a coded wristband (the festival is free, just rsvp).  They scan the wristband so they wouldn't lost your haul and that'll reserved your stash while you can be fancy-free and enjoy the festivities.

Young families, frugal families and thrifty hipster love the Target money for food vendors, but they're only good on the festival ground and on that day only...

There's no need to sneak in food to be cheap.  Quite the opposite, use Target money, currency valued at $10, $5, and $1 to buy yourself satisfying real meal, such as this teriyaki chicken bowl and stuffed crepes for dessert or as breakfast.  A good deal good enough to sneak food and drinks out, going back home as tomorrow's lunch, dinner, or breakfast.

You can rest or asleep while testing out the hammock.  While you're relaxing in the hammock, you can watch the day-long music festival...

He warmed up for Millennial Charlie Puth and for the Gen-Y audience...

They all got the Gen-Y and Millennial audience all hyped for Gen-Y's idea of classic rock, the Target x Hunter Collection Ultimate Family Festival's headliners, One Republic.

Admist the crowd, the performers, the crafters, the munching foodie families, and the performers,  Target saw their festival as a great time to shoot their ad campaign and film their tv ad.  A tv commercial in action, with ethnicity and age diversified and realistic cast of models, best represent their "target" demographic of shoppers.  No one left out.

It was a jam-packed Sunday Funday for all, from 10am shopping until 6pm when it's time for the families to go home.

Target x Hunter Collection Ultimate Family Festival was for all and a good damn product launch.
