"Winterize" Your Skin with L'Occitane's Newest & Latest. Refined Shea Butter and Lighter Divine Cream with Sunscreen.

By Laura Medina

The Three latest & Newest Addition To L'Occitane:
 Shea Butter Soothing Fluid
Shea Butter Comforting Oil
Divine Cream SPF 20

Now, that we got the makeup covered with Nars 2016 Spring Collection, let's build the base for nourishing, soothing skincare that not only make you look great but feel great during the winter, under the cameras' glare.

For those taking advantage of the cheaper ski vacation rates, post-holiday, this scribe can't think of a more perfect time than to try out the newest and the latest from L'Occitane's Winter skincare, when you need it the most.

If you still think shea butter is a solid chunk of nut butter/oil that could be mistaken for cocoa butter, L'Occitane refines it into a more manageable oil for severely chapped, weather-beaten visages and the lighter lotion for those with sensitive skin or those with existing oil glands who seek something extra to slow down Winter damage.

Shea Butter Comforting Oil -30 ml-($42): With a 100% natural formula, this silky oil helps to further nourish dry and sensitive skin types without causing breakouts. Enriched with 5% moisturizing shea oil and miracle-rated marula oil, apply one or two drops before moisturizing, to help boost skin’s regeneration. The marula oil’s fine texture allow for quick absorption into skin, with a dry-finish and light-weight texture.

This Shea Butter Comforting Oil is a more approachable application, where you simply squirt a dab of what you need then pat or soothe wherever you need it or smear it all over your face and body.  Easier than scooping out a chunk of solid, frozen shea butter out of the jar.

If you want a more light-weight approach to "winterizing" your face, L'Occitane's Shea Butter Soothing Fluid- 40 ml-($49) is more up your alley.  It's a great way to bump up your existing oil glands for extra moisture or a more soothing approach for sensitive skin.

Enriched with 5% nourishing shea butter, calming rose hip oil and anti-inflammatory rich calendula oil extracted from marigolds, this light-weight, soothing fluid helps to protect and comfort dry, dehydrated skin. For best results, apply after cleansing face in place of your moisturizer.

For those who want a complete package, especially while traveling to the slopes, L'Occitane's Divine Cream SPF 20 is the more refined, lighter, and more protected version of the original.

Not only it's lighter, it has the additional benefit of having adequate sunscreen, SPF 20.  All in one jar.

Enriched with SPF 20, vitamin C and seven naturally derived active ingredients including myrtle essential oil, honey, borage, marsh clover, daisy, evening primrose and camelina extracts, this lightweight, daily moisturizer, helps to visibly reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, while helping skin to feel more firm and elastic. Ideal for normal-to-combination skin types, this cream helps protect skin against daily aggressors while offering anti-aging benefits to those who prefer a lighter texture.

For those who find the original Divine Cream a little too heavy, a little too thick, this can be a good option for you.

For now, L'Occitane got you covered during Winter's harshness and the harshness of Awards Season's red carpet glare.
