Stetson’s Stagecoach BBQ is a Warm Up to Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Extravaganza.

 By Laura Medina

Beyonce is from Houston, Texas. Texas is Texas. There, either you go big or go home. Everything is big in Texas. Texan is Texan. Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter Tour is celebrating her Texan upbringing with Texan attitude. Las Vegas is also Western and also works hard to go big or go home. The Texan extravaganza may be too big and too glitzy for the more modest, humble down home country from Nashville. But, Beyonce does not disappoint. Her tour is about bringing Texan culture and attitude to the greater world. She makes sure everyone gets a bang for their money. Her sequined and diamond Western wear proves it got style and comfort, reinforced by her league of fans. Attainable style. Beyonce sharing her Texan heritage and culture is Southern Hospitality. She’s being friendly. Y’all enjoy. If y’all can’t make it all the way to Indio’s Stagecoach, hold your horses. Don’t fret and sit tight, Beyonce coming to you, bringing Cowboy Carter to y’all.

Thank god, the humble and modest mega country and Western music festival, Stagecoach, is receiving some love, respect, and awareness with equally friendly brand parties and activations that supported Coachella for years. The side parties that Coachella insist as de rigueur and takes for granted. The exact same swag parties that Stagecoach country and rural folks are so grateful for and in awe of.

Stetson’s and Ray’s Hometown BBQ Bar, with LaCroix, smoked the best glazed BBQ during Stagecoach Saturday, sweet and crunchy glazed while mouthwatering tender, fall apart inside.

Their BBQ did not disappoint.

Stetson stitch embroidered Western essentials, such stylish denim snap button Western shirts, denim jackets, and hot weather appropriate denim vests, were hotly appreciated.

Since Stagecoach started as an afterthought, they scheduled it when the Summer heat wave arrives. This is folks guzzling LaCroix mineral water to hydrate, to survive. Add tequila or agave, they call it Ranch Water.

Folk learn to hoof it, line dancing and two stepping. They also taught how to rope.

Down Home Approachable.

Howdy, y’all.

Oops! Forgot about mom!?

Here’s a cute make up gift. A very chic, helpful guide book to shopping and dining and hanging out in historical and contemporary Paris, “Paris Shopfronts” by Vivian Song and Joel Holland.

Unlike most travel guide, it’s cute enough to lay out as a coffee table book. At your convenience, this coffee table is your guide to City of Lights.

In the comfort of your living room, you can romantically dream your trip to Paris; or mom can reminisce about her last trip to Paris.

Regardless how it’s used, “Paris Shopfronts” is a good make up gift.

Aloe Blacc & Train Showed California Love & Lenny Kravitz Made Rare Appearance at 2025 Beach Life Festival.

 By Laura Medina

Aloe Blacc and Train both showed California love to the Golden State, on Beach Life Festival’s opening day and night.

Aloe Blacc covered The Mamas & The Papas’ “California Dreaming.”

Train covered The Eagles’ “Hotel California.” A San Francisco response to Hollywood.

Of course, Beach Life Festival saved the best for last.

Everyone came for Lenny Kravitz’s “Are You Going My Way.”

The Beach Boys, Jackson Browne, Mt. Joy, and Alanis Morrisette bookend the festival.

Sugar Ray’s Mark McGarth joined John Stamos with The Beach Boys. Remember, this is Beach Life Festival.

Beach Life Festival has always mix up and coming with established musicians.

Up and coming Mt. Joy was between The Beach Boys and Jackson Browne.

Alanis Morrisette finished the festival with feminist empowerment, for everyone, with her Nineties classics…
