A couple of professional makeup artists either accuse this scribe for being "convenience makeup" or being a "bold minimalist."

This scribe is living the "bim, bam, boom" life, covering three events, around the clock, all in one day.  So, yes, convenience makeup that you can dab, dash, and go is very important, just for a mental pick-me-up.

NARS' Multiple Sticks were a game-changers.  They revolutionize the makeup routine game, catering to sophisticated but time-pressed professional women who want and need it all...potent color pay-off, blendable, durable, for eyes, cheeks, and lips...all in one stick.

It took awhile but Smashbox came up with their own version, L.A. Lights Blendable Lip & Cheek Color Sticks, paying homage to it's hometown's "magic sunlights."

Each bright and opaque color represents the different "magic hour" sunset light and natural sunlight you'll get in Los Angeles' neighborhoods, with their own vegetation filtering sunlight.

In both Sephora and Ulta, you'll get the rich, classic, and Old Hollywood vampy Sunset & Vine for a rich, wine burgundy.  It's a nod to "Sunset Boulevard," the movie where a blackish plum was the standard for deepening lips and contouring cheeks in black and white movies or yore.

Also at both Sephora and Ulta, Laurel Canyon Coral is that hippy-ish orangy-coral representing the optimistic naturalism of the Sixties and early Seventies Folk Music scene above the Sunset Strip.

But only at Ulta, Eighties' New Wave Neon hot and bold magneta, personified by cult celebrity, Angelyne, is represented by Fairfax Fuchsia.  Now, this is a pop of color everyone is recommending.  Dab, pat, and blend, still a flush of vibrant pink that ain't going nowhere.

In fourteen shades of red, plum, violet, lilac, pink, peach, and nude, Burt's Bees finally gotten around and matured into developing their own line of classic, stand-by lipsticks in a traditional moisturizing formula of Beeswax, Moringa Oil, Raspberry Seed Oil, and Vitamin E.

The teaser to the all-natural makeup game, Burt's Bees fans who have grown with the brand from lip balm to shimmer to lip crayon, are rejoicing now.
