Having a common connection in common, that connection hooked up UK-US fashion television style correspondent, Louise Roe with leather jacket queen, Denise Focil after mentioning she's a fan of Denise Focil.
The two hit it off great, a great way to launch a capsule collection, Louise Roe with AS by DF Fall/Winter 2016.
Louise's capsule collection/collaboration with Denise is her United Kingdom take on the California climate and easy-breezy lifestyle.
It's a simple, reliable, uniquely Californian Classic for the closet...for whenever you're in LA, such as Louise.
Based on months on observation, Louise decided one cannot live without a proper cooling but comfy camisole with a lace-trimmed v-neck, in an universal peachy-beige that flatters most skintones.
After being lucky attending and covering ultra-hip Hollywood and California events, Louise and Denise designed together this off-shoulder chambray maxi dress can double as a cover-up from bikini in the pool to a poolside cocktail party or a post-afternoon shopping or Happy Hour or a date night.
Another hip toss-on is Louise's and Denise's light-weight suede biker vest in tan. It's a layering piece that goes well with everything. How carefree is it? Denise makes sure there are a lot of zippered pockets to quit carrying your purse, leaving you hands-free which means carefree.
Once they started working together on the collaboration, Denise was taken by Louise's technical tailoring knowledge and her lifestyle observation insights.
This is a good hook-up.
