For Valentine's Day, Celebrate Chinese New Year then Visit Blancpain's Virtual Underwater Exhibit.

By Laura Medina

For Valentine's Day, why don't you jet off to Vegas, baby.

Other the usual glamorous resorts, clubs, restaurants, and entertainment, Caesar's Forum has a host of events to make your Valentine's unique.

The city of Las Vegas has an equally cosmopolitan population as it does tourists.  To celebrate it's Chinese-American residents and it's Chinese visitors, Caesar's Forum is celebrating the Year of the Monkey on Chinese New Year.

A legendary creature in Chinese mythology and folklore, the dragon is a traditional symbol of power, strength, and good luck. The Forum Shops at Caesars is once again sharing this fabled creature in a big way by welcoming a 22-ft. long, 6-ft. wide and 12-ft. high dragon to the world-renowned retail destination. Perfectly situated on the Fortuna Terrace near the entrance to The Forum Shops from Caesars Palace casino, the massive 950-lb steel-framed dragon is covered in 30,000 red and amber LED lights, many of which flicker, giving the mythical beast a vibrant look and dynamic feel. The dazzling dragon sits upon a lush red carpet surrounded by hand-painted wood pillars, gold fencing and red velvet ropes. The impressive display was custom created exclusively for The Forum Shops and will be on display throughout the Chinese New Year season.

The five-days celebrations will start on Monday, February 8th with students from the Meadows School, who will perform the traditional dragon parade throughout The Forum Shops at Caesars on Monday, Feb 8 beginning at 10 a.m.

From February 9th to 11th, there will be Chinese Hospitality stations with Mandarin translators available to assist our visitors and distribute a special Chinese New Year brochure.  Located near the dragon display, the Hospitality Station will be available February 9th to 11th  from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

As a finale, on February 12th, talented artists from the Hunan Provincial Song & Dance Theatre Company will perform for visitors to The Forum Shops at Caesars on Friday, Feb 12. The popular troupe will perform in front of the Fountain of the Gods at 3:30 p.m., and again in the rotunda near Casa Fuente at 4:30 p.m. Each complimentary performance will be followed by photo opportunities with guests.

In addition, until Febraury 15th, The Forum Shops and Blancpain have decided to extend the Blancpain Ocean Commitment Exhibition walk-through exhibit through February 15, 2016. Visitors to the exhibition are able to explore and discover the underwater universe and learn about the tangible and meaningful results that have been achieved by the organizations Blancpain supports.  The Blancpain Ocean Commitment Exhibition will be on display directly in front of the Blancpain boutique and will now be open to the public through February 15, 2016 at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace.

In between celebrating Chinese New Year and walking through the Blancpain Ocean Commitment Exhibition, you can gift your Valentine at the numerous high-end Forum Shops with limited-edition Las Vegas collections that can only be found at Caesar's Forum, such as Blancpain's limited edition Ladybird Saint Valentin watch at their Caesar's Forum shop.

David Yurman is spotlighting the ideal gifts for her with the Chatelaine Valentine Heart Earrings with Diamonds and matching Chatelaine Heart Ring with Pink Sapphires. This season of love, two of The Forum Shops most loved retailers, British luxury shoe and accessories brand, Charlotte Olympia and exquisite lingerie brand, Agent Provocateur, have announced a capsule collection inspired by the bygone era of old Hollywood glamour.  The collection includes three lingerie sets and three complementing shoes styles.

Lush has exploded all over Vegas with their hand-made, organic skin/hair care.

On Saturday, Feb 20 from 10 a.m.to 5 p.m, come celebrate LUSH's One Year Anniversary at The Forum Shops with yummy treats, catchy beats, and limited edition product.
