The Best of Hollywood Halloween...Not to be Missed & Wished.

By Laura Medina

Sure, there has been Maxim's Halloween that conquered the W Hotel in Westwood; and the Playboy Mansion is only making money being an over-sized nightclub, also threw their annual Monster Mash...both a week before the actual holiday...for non-celebrities but they are insiders, who paid tons and tons of cash for those monster bashes.

But the real Hollywood Halloween happened on the holiday itself when Adam Lambert, as wood wizard, did his own Halloween party/concert, transforming the Beverly Hilton into "Ghost Town."

Yes, celebs did paid but all that dough was donated to something meaningful to Adam, Point Foundation. It empowers promising LGBTQ students to achieve their full academic and leadership potential, the real-life kids who feel like oddballs and misfits through-out the year in a conformist society that only aspires to be them on one night of Halloween.  It's a gift that you want to keep on giving.

Obviously, his Halloween party is a great way to debut his new third studio album, "The Original High".

It is also a win-win situation for both parties.

Doing the "Monster Mash" at the Beverly Hilton is one of the highlights from it's new Hilton@PLAY program.  It's a new "experience" program where Hilton curates unique artist experiences with U2, Gavin DeGraw, Mick Fleetwood, Colbie Caillat, Cody Simpson, Nick Jonas, Andy Grammer, Sydney Sierota of Echosmith, Jess Glynne, and more, by connecting travelers, artists and cities in new, unexpected ways - from private concerts and meet-and-greets in their hotels to unexpected artist connections, such as food and wine tastings hosted by the artist showcasing their artisanal products.

With all that venue space, the restaurants, and all that space and room, Hilton@PLAY can do that. To take part in future rock star-worthy experiences, Hilton HHonors members are invited to visit HHonors.com/auctions and redeem Hilton HHonors points for the offerings.

Yummy cocktails for an adult Halloween.

Right before Halloween, the intellectual and society cultured (Charleston-cultured pride) the astute Stephen Colbert used this All-American holiday to debut Sweden's death metal band, Ghost.

Boy, did they kick ass and bringing what's best out of real-life contemporary Nordic culture-death metal.

Now, that's Halloween with class with Stephen Colbert...and heart from Adam Lambert.
