It was a treat to be invited to Coralie (pronounced "Cora Lee, rhymes with Sara Lee) Charriol's family vacation home in Malibu while she and her whole family are on vacation.
She granted this rare opportunity to a few selected Los Angeles style writers to discuss her new "Bangle Mania" collection, consisting of the new "Forever Young" Line because she felt Summer in Malibu was the right moment to profile the more affordable, Casual Chic but no less luxurious, "Bangle Mania" Collection.

In a pool side discussion, she pinpointed the importance of continuing the family heritage of fine craftsmanship onto the next generation of jewelry buyers and how to incorporate this into their lifestyles, specifically the Gen-Yers and the Gen-Xers.
Based on her jet-setting and open-minded upbringing as a daughter of a worldly jewelry founder and married to Good Ole South Carolinian Gamecock in-laws, Coralie knows the importance and the reality of a good investment piece, it must be adaptable to any occasion, any situation, any where in the world. Or even, the simple everyday and night matter of dressing down or dressing up, going non-stop, while incorporating new pieces into your existing jewelry wardrobe, Coralie calls her "Bangle Mania" Collection a lifestyle collection.
Part of the Bangle Mania Collection is the new Forever Young Line. Coralie sees this as a good introduction line that's within a reasonable price point. Definitely for the "Sex and the City" set. It's a reward after your first promotion or raise. A foundation to build your jewelry collection on.
The trend for bracelets, cuffs and bangles is here to stay, and the bangle has become every woman’s staple accessory. Add a personal touch to shirts, blazers, work-wear and beautiful evening dresses with our stackable, collectable BANGLEMANIA designs.
All these contemporary bracelets are designed by CHARRIOL’s New York-based Creative Director, Coralie Charriol-Paul who, with her understanding of what modern women want, offers fabulous ways to wear these versatile styles, as she explains: “I personally love bracelets, and the trend for stackable, personalised jewellery is here to stay. By mixing and matching these pieces, women can create their own signature style, whether they prefer a statement cuff from Forever Young, or my delicate intricate Tango designs: they can be a rock-chick or romantic, depending on their mood!”
Evoking a fairytale-meets-rock mood, these new colored bangles and rings
are framed by rose gold or black, in rainbow shades that echo the
urban-folk trends that continue to populate the runways.
One of
CHARRIOL’s most popular jewellery lines, the Forever Young bangles come
in a narrow cuff style, and the fresh new shades add a dash of French
chic to any outfit.
For an edgier look, bracelets with a black
frame provide a canvas for bright cables in fuchsia, cobalt blue,
pistachio green or charcoal in what is our most modern interpretation
yet of our signature motif.

sophisticated stamp to these stackable bracelets.
Twists and cables, torques and cuffs, coloured or monochrome, wrapped with wires or plainly elegant, adorned with stones or embellished with hearts and clasps, slim or broad, there are six variants to choose from in a spectrum of tones, including silver, bronze, black and gold.
Small CHARRIOL insignia in rose gold or black discs add a final sophisticated stamp to these stack able bracelets. Rose gold is the current trend in jewelry for the past two years.
Creative Director, Coralie Charriol-Paul has taken the essence of the CHARRIOL house, the twisted cable motif, and worked it into a fashionable ‘torque’ bangle style and matching rings in a multitude of colors. The Celtic emblem is a long-standing motif of the house, inspired by the early arts and crafts of the ancient Celtic people. Now, crafted from steel, bronze, black, pink or yellow-plated gold PVD, in monochrome or two-tone shades, the Celtic bangles see finely twisted cables finished with a smooth, jewel-like semi-precious stone or matching steel or colored end-piece – a wholly contemporary take on a highly original design. Perfect to pair with any of the CHARRIOL watches, these are ideal for this season’s mix and match jewelry trend and uphold CHARRIOL’s trilogy of blended, colored golds
The importance of this cable bangle in purple signifies how the brand re-interpret their signature cable braid in the company's color for the upcoming generation of jewelry consumers. No matter how they style it, it is still Charriol.

As they progress forward with Bangle Mania and the Forever Young Line, Charriol hasn't forgotten their signature cable braid in gold and steel for their jewelry and watches, particularly their watches.
Their St. Tropez Watches, they are one of the first and the few watches catered specifically to women.
The popularity and femininity of CHARRIOL’s iconic St-Tropez™ range has given rise to a new jewellery collection, designed in the same glamorous spirit. Called St-Tropez™ Club 55, the line is named after St Tropez’s first-ever beach club, which first opened 50 years ago and is still an iconic address that attracts a jet set clientele.

The St. Tropez Watch still has the heft and quality of a man's watch with their signature cable braid. It comes in both steel and rose gold for women. However, the St. Tropez Watch has the added bonus. From the get-go, they always added a charm bracelet to give that extra appeal and making it distinctively for women.
Saint Tropez is one of the most glamorous resorts in the French Mediterranean, and provides the inspiration for CHARRIOL’s most eye-catching, iconic timepiece of the same name. Pretty and elegant, the much-loved ST-TROPEZ™ watch, with its feminine chain link bracelet and CHARRIOL detailing, has evolved into a trendy new variant that can be infinitely customised. Just like the woman that wears it, ST-TROPEZ™ Style is infinitely alluring, thanks to a new selection of 12 interchangeable bracelet chains and 13 charming matching clips, in a timepiece that embodies personal style.
The chains, in delicate rose gold or silvery-toned steel, are adorned with cute motifs,
from animals to flowers and angel wings, and can be mixed and matched
with sparkling clips that affix to the cable watchstrap. These can be easily swapped out, so women can accessorise to suit the mood, or the moment! As Alexandre Charriol, Vice President, explains: “For women, jewellery is such a personal statement,
so it was logical to take the ST-TROPEZ™ design one step further and make it really customisable.
The different clips and chains appeal to all tastes and styles, so there’s really something for everyone, whether you’re feeling sweet or sophisticated.” A playful kaleidoscope of contrasting materials, including steel, mother of pearl and precious stones, this timepiece is an opportunity to assert female values of independence, strength and beauty. And that’s true style.

Her brother, Alexandre, is an artist and he designed the new dials for the new watches for the next generation.
Just like a unique artwork, the Night Masks Collection is a highly personal new range designed by Alexandre Charriol himself. These new timepieces reinterpret CHARRIOL’s signature Alexandre C model, and come in a limited series of just 500 pieces, each signed by Alexandre. Directly inspired by Alexandre’s collection of paintings, ‘Human Flow’, the watches transpose Alex’s own personal view of how we interact in society, the ‘masks’ we sometimes wear, and the liberating effect of the night. Free-form images of human faces
are etched onto the dials, and are a direct replica of Alex’s global exhibition.
Night Masks encompasses four variants, in colourways of steel, charcoal, bronze and blue, and a unisex large size of 40mm. Speaking about his personal creation, Alexandre says: ”Night Masks” is part of my Human Flow exhibition, which was painted with patience and precision. Each face was formed organically. With the addition and subtraction of the black-and-white paints, until I found shapes that I liked and felt right. The symbolism of these
pieces is to free ourselves from the masks that society sets upon us, and be our true selves.””
