Anne Hathaway hosted the biggest Breast Cancer bash in Los Angeles, in the heart of Santa Monica Airport which happens to be down the street from this scribe, very convenient for this society-satiate scribe.

On October 19, 2013, boutique owner, stylist and designer Elyse Walker’s ninth annual The Pink Party® raised $1.7 million to benefit the Women’s Cancer Program at Cedars-Sinai’s Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute, bringing the event’s cumulative gross revenue (from 2005-2013) to over $9 million.

Since 2005, The Pink Party has managed to raise over $9 million for the Women’s Cancer Program at Cedars-Sinai’s Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute.  Led by director, Dr Beth Y. Karlan along with her team of doctors, the Women’s Cancer Program at Cedars-Sinai has made amazing strides in improving diagnosis and treatment of gender specific cancers.  Through education, early detection and prevention, the goal is to reduce the threat of cancer to women and save lives.
