N8iV Beauty’s Native American Skincare is All-American Skincare on the 4th of July

 By Laura Medina

Shopping at a Sephora with her daughter, Ruth Ann Thorn’s daughter causally quipped how there’s no Native American beauty or skincare items, much less a Native American section?

Ruth-Ann sought to remedy that by drawing on her family’s millennia skincare recipes, based on acorn oil. Yes, that humble little nut that squirrels squirrel away.  Native Americans have been using it as food…and skincare.

That’s how N8iV Beauty came about.

Not only is N8iV Beauty is chock full of acorn oil but also boosting food-grade ingredients that happen to be native among various Native American tribes, like cactus prickly pear and aloe vera.

See, nothing weird. Ruth Ann took traditional Native American foods and seeds then whipped them into innovative skincare, such as CC cream sunscreen, using cactus and algae, that we all can use right now.

If you really want to support the 4th of July, go N8iV…
