Quentin Tarantino-sque Nazi Gold Heist Action-Revenge Thriller, "SISU," the Newest, Toughest, and Latest Action Hero.

 By Laura Medina

This is a Finnish answer, a Finnish take on a Quentin Tarantino-type of movie, a Nazi meets Gold Heist meets Revenge movie while introducing a new type of action-hero, "SISU."

Rolling out in major mainstream movie theaters in major cites:

NYC Theaters: AMC Empire 25, AMC 34th Street, AMC Lincoln Square, Regal UA Kaufman Astoria,Regal Essex Crossing, Regal Union Square, Regal UA Sheepshead Bay, AMC Magic Johnson Harlem, AMC Jersey Gardens, Alamo Drafthouse Staten Island and more.

LA Theaters: TCL Chinese Theatres + IMAX, AMC The Grove 14, Universal Cinema AMC at Universal Hollywood, AMC Century 15, AMC Burbank 16, and AMC Santa Anita 16, among others in Los Angeles county.

It's all about an ex-World War I commando who retires as gold miner, who suddenly strikes a mother lode of gold, right in the middle of the Nazi invading Finland.  Before you know it,

the main protagonist, commando-turned-gold miner, Sisu has the Nazi chasing him to steal his gold.  Then, it's Sisu exacting revenge on the Nazi, in superhuman strength, toughness, and cunningness that scares the Nazi straight.

If Quentin Tarantino directed a movie based in Finnish World War II, it'll be "SISU."

The central protagonist, Sisu, is a living definition of Finnish tenacity, a white-knuckled form of courage and unimaginable determination in the face of overwhelming odds.

During the last desperate days of WWII, a solitary prospector (Jorma Tommila) crosses paths with Nazis on a scorched-earth retreat in northern Finland.  When the Nazis steal his gold, they quickly discover that they have just tangled with no ordinary miner.  While there is no direct translation for the Finnish word “sisu”, this legendary ex-commando will embody what sisu means: a white-knuckled form of courage and unimaginable determination in the face of overwhelming odds.  And no matter what the Nazis throw at him, the one-man death squad will go to outrageous lengths to get his gold back – even if it means killing every last Nazi in his path.
